Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data is especially important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal regulations (DSG 2018, GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

Please read this statement carefully, as it explains how we collect, process, and store your personal data. Every access to our website and every retrieval of a file stored on it is logged. The storage is used for internal system-related and statistical purposes. Logged data includes: name of the file accessed, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, web browser, requesting domain, IP address of the requesting computer, search terms, (…)*. We process and store all personal data that you transmit to us via email inquiries (e.g., name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.) for the purpose of responding to your request and maintaining customer relations. These data are stored until you submit a written request for deletion.

Additional personal data are only recorded if you provide this information voluntarily, for example within the scope of an inquiry or registration, for the conclusion of a contract, or through your browser settings. Should we transfer data to external service providers, appropriate technical and organisational measures will be taken to ensure that such transfers comply with legal data protection requirements.

1. Contacting Us

1.1. When contacting us by email, the information you provide is stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case follow-up questions arise.

1.2. We do not share this data without your consent unless it is required for fulfilling a contract or taking pre-contractual steps. Without this data, we cannot conclude a contract with you. This also applies to job applications submitted via email.

2. Access Data / Server Log Files

2.1. The provider (or its webspace provider) collects data on every access to the website (so-called server log files). Access data include: name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously visited website), IP address, and the requesting provider.

2.2. The provider uses these log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing, and optimizing the website. However, the provider reserves the right to review the log data retrospectively if there are concrete indications of unlawful use.

3. Handling of Personal Data

3.1. We automatically collect and store information that your browser transmits to us in our server log files. These include: browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (previously visited page), hostname of the accessing computer (IP address), and time of server request. These data cannot be assigned to specific individuals. A combination of these data with other data sources is not made, and the data are used exclusively for statistical analysis.

3.2. Personal data are only collected, used, and disclosed by the provider if this is legally permitted or if users consent to the data collection.

4. Cookies

We point out that we use cookies during visits to our website for advertising and communication purposes, for handling registration/enquiries, and to prevent spam (see also www.allaboutcookies.org/ge/). Cookies are small text files stored on your device with the help of your browser. We use cookies to make our services more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

4.1. If you do not wish this to happen, you can configure your browser so that it informs you about the placement of cookies and allows you to permit this only in individual cases. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

4.2. Session cookie (local): This is a technical cookie that stores user actions within a website. It is deleted when you leave the website.

4.3. How to disable, delete, or block cookies: Our website allows you to enable/disable individual cookies as illustrated below, but please note that deactivation may prevent the website from functioning fully.

5. Web Analytics

5.1. Our website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics, a web analysis tool of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Cookies are used for this purpose, enabling analysis of website usage. The information generated is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there. More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

5.2. You can prevent cookie storage by configuring your browser accordingly. The information generated by cookies about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. Google uses this information to evaluate website usage and to compile reports on website activity. We use this information solely for our own market research and to optimize our website.

5.3. Google may transfer this information to third parties if legally required or if third parties process data on behalf of Google. Google will not associate your IP address with other Google data. You can prevent cookie installation by adjusting your browser software. However, disabling cookies may prevent full use of all website features. By using this website, you consent to Google processing your data as described above.

5.4. If you do not wish your anonymized data to be used for website analysis, you can deactivate Google Analytics here: GA-OptOut.

5.5. Data processing is based on our legitimate interests or those of a third party for the operation of the website and improvement of our services. The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (for the USA: “Privacy Shield”).

5.6. Data processing also takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest under GDPR is the improvement of our services and online presence.

6. IP Anonymization

We use the function “IP anonymization.” This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the EU or other EEA contracting states. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google processes this information on behalf of the website operator to evaluate website usage, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide further services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

7. Your Rights

You generally have the rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and objection. If you believe that your data processing violates applicable data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority:
